The Estonian Information System Authority (RIA) coordinates the development and management of the state's information system, organises activities related to information security, and handles security incidents in Estonian computer networks. The Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority was created by merging two agencies with the aim of strengthening the capacity of the national consumer environment and the market and safety supervision. The new authority performs all the tasks previously performed by the two agencies, i.e. it exercises national supervision and issues orders to fulfil the obligations arising from the law in the field of consumer protection and in the following areas: electronic communications, information society services, broadcasting frequency management and media services, registration of providers of certification services for digital signatures and time stamps, railways, mining, explosive substances and handling of pyrotechnic products, hazardous chemicals, pressure equipment, lifting equipment, machinery, fuel gas and electrical safety, and construction and legal metrology.

- Estonian Information and Communication Technology Centre (Estonian ICT Centre)
In December 2021, the Estonian Information and Communication Technology Centre, or the Estonian ICT Centre (RIT), was established, where the computer workplace and server infrastructure service units of other areas of governance, the corresponding assets and solutions, and the organisation of these services will be brought over in the coming years. The main tasks of the centre will be the central organisation of the provision of basic ICT services for the entire country: maintaining, acquiring and developing the necessary services, solutions and systems, managing the relevant budget and ICT assets, and providing instruction and training on services and information security.

- NGO Estonian Centre for Standardisation and Accreditation
MTÜ Eesti Standardi- ja Akrediteerimiskeskus (NGO Estonian Centre for Standardisation and Accreditation) operates as an Estonian standardisation organisation on the basis of the Product Conformity Act. The purpose of the Centre for Standardisation's activities is to prepare and publish standards, create an environment suitable for standardisation activities, and represent Estonia in international standardisation. From 1 January 2021, the Centre will also act as a national accreditation body, dealing with the assessment and accreditation of the technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories, persons carrying out certifications and inspections, and the surveillance of assessed and accredited facilities.

MTÜ Nordic Institute for Interoperability Solutions
MTÜ (NGO) Nordic Institute for Interoperability Solutions (NIIS) is a non-profit organization whose task is to ensure the development and strategic management of X-tee® and other cross-border components of the e-governance infrastructure.
NIIS is both a strategic network, a cooperation platform and an executor of IT developments related to the common interests of NGO members. The institute focuses on practical transnational cooperation, sharing best practices and promoting innovation. The institute's operating model is quite an innovative initiative in the world.
NIIS members, as of 1 January 2020, are the Republic of Finland (through the Finnish Ministry of Finance) and the Republic of Estonia (through the Ministry of Economy and Communications).
