Council of the European Union
Council of the European Union is the main decision making and harmonizing body in the EU. The Council is made up of the ministers of the Member States. It meets in nine different configurations depending on the subjects under discussion.
Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications participates in two councils:
- Competitiveness Council (in co-operation with the Ministry of Education and Research)
Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications also contributes according to its responsibilities to other council formations in the jurisdiction of other ministries.
