EUROPEAID/116500/D/SV/EE Technical Assistance for Rehabilitation of Tallinn Airport airside area.

Rehabilitation of Tallinn Airport airside area includes upgrading the airside area to international level according to ICAO and ECAC requirements and improving of environmental situation at Tallinn Airport.

The contract with Consortium Rademacher + Partner Ingenieurberatung GmbH IRP and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr.rer. pol. K.-U. Rudolph GmbH was  signed on April 28, 2004. The value of the Contract is 384 000 €.  The Consultant started work on May 11, 2004. The end of the project as indicated in contract was set on March 11, 2005. The contract is extended by 2 months for getting the part of the final approvals from authorities by the consultant.


EUROPEAID/116499/D/SV/EE  Technical Assistance for Upgrading the Tallinn Airport Passenger terminal and Phyto-Sanitary Border Inspection Point according to the EU demands.

The preparation of the studies and design documents shall be related to upgrading Passenger and Cargo terminals according to the EU requirements. According to the EU regulations Tallinn Airport must rearrange the passenger flows, provide separations of departure and arrivals passenger and improve security level in Passenger terminal.  At Tallinn Airport Cargo Terminal, Veterinary and Phyto-Sanitary Border Inspection Points must be constructed. The aim of the project is to improve infrastructure and services on the border to enhance international trade and transport.

The contract with Consortium SOFREAVIA in with EA RENG AS was signed on August 19, 2004. The value of the Contract is 490 000 €. The commencement date of the project was October 01, 2004. The project is under implementation. The last date of the project will be on October 01, 2005.

Technical Assistance for Reconstruction/development of Estonian airports belonging to Trans-European Transport Network

The preparation of the studies and design documents shall be related to reconstruction/development of four regional Estonian airports in Trans-European Transport Network: Tartu Ülenurme, Pärnu, Kuressaare and Kärdla. The aim of the project is to get design and tender documents for the reconstruction and equip the airports to meet international standards and improve flight safety. The reconstruction will include the reconstruction of passenger terminals, as well as the modernization of and ground services and facilities and navigation systems

After the amalgamation of Tallinn Airport (AS Tallinna Lennujaam) and state owned local airports (January 01, 2005) the obligation of preparation the tender dossier lie on AS Tallinn Lennujaam. MoEAC has also decided to appoint AS Tallinna Lennujaam as Implementing Agency of aviation projects. The estimated value of the Contract will be up to 800 000 €
